About Dr. Osher

Annette Osher, MD, leads her own internal medicine practice on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, focused on optimizing health care, providing concierge medicine, and fostering strong doctor-patient relationships.

She’s passionate about the human connection she finds through practicing medicine and enjoys taking the time to get to know each patient personally, providing unhurried, individualized, and compassionate medical care.

Dr. Osher graduated cum laude from Syracuse University in Syracuse, New York, with a Bachelor of Science in biology and psychology. After graduation, she conducted medical research at both Yale University School of Medicine in New Haven, Connecticut, and the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, located in Philadelphia.

Dr. Osher earned her medical degree from the former Medical College of Pennsylvania, now part of Drexel University College of Medicine, also located in Philadelphia. 

She then completed her internship and residency in internal medicine at Long Island Jewish-Hillside Medical Center, located in New Hyde Park, New York. Dr. Osher followed this with a cardiology fellowship at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in the Prospect Lefferts Garden neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York.

Dr. Osher then began at St. Luke's Roosevelt Hospital of Columbia University Medical Center.

Today, Dr. Osher is a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine and an Associate Fellow of the American College of Cardiology.

She holds a teaching appointment at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, in East Harlem, Manhattan. She’s also a Voluntary Attending Physician at Mount Sinai Medical Center.

Dr. Osher is a member of prominent professional medical societies and sits on advisory boards, including a number of sports training centers. Most recently, the world-renowned Metropolitan Opera House appointed her as its house physician. She is also the house appointed physician for the New York Philharmonic Orchestra.

Dr. Osher is a champion of concierge medicine, and she’s recognized far and wide for her expertise in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular care as well as her commitment to building personal relationships with her patients.
